Darktooth
Hello and welcome to the forum. What you have is mostly the root with a small portion of the edge of the tooth itself. It is pretty beat up, but you can see serrations faintly. It could be from a Meg or one of it's ancestors. 3 I like Trilo-butts and I cannot lie. New Members SCole Posted Saturday at 02:06 PM Author New Members Share Posted Saturday at 02:06 PM Thank you for your reply. I thought the same, but my old man said I was crazy. Lol We are VERY new at this. So this was a pretty cool find for my third day on the beach. It washed right up over my foot, so I reached down and grabbed it. Found 21 Sea Biscuits also! Thank you again for the info. Have a blessed day!

And someone on the forum would be able to tell you which they are. 1 I like Trilo-butts and I cannot lie.
New Members Wyatt Plaster Posted yesterday at 02:39 AM New Members Share Posted yesterday at 02:39 AM Based on the cerrations, probably a great white, or maybe a small meg. I can't tell if the tooth had a burlet or not. If it has a burlet, it's probably a small meg or chub. If it does not have a burlet, probably a great white
Kohler Palaeontology Posted yesterday at 03:24 AM Share Posted yesterday at 03:24 AM Looks more meg to me.
Randyw Posted yesterday at 04:16 AM Share Posted yesterday at 04:16 AM I’m sure I can see the remains of the bourlette. Also it’s too thick for a white from front to back….
