First Crinoid Head/calyx Find

Recommended Posts

This week I found my first crinoid head.

I spent afew hours yesterday preparing it. It shows some nice detail.

It's from the lower lias, Robin Hoods Bay in Yorkshire.

I'm not sure what species it is.

NICE Find, Congrats!!  Ever since I first got into fossils, finding a complete crinoid head with some stem has been a goal of mine...  Very encouraging to see you succeed!  Always neat seeing what you find on the other side of the pond, Liam. :)
