Muffinman217
Hi guys, This tooth is 2.1 inches long and is from the Kem-Kem formation of Morocco. Im just wondering if this tooth likes a Rebbachisaurus garasbae or the Titanosaur Indet species from the Kem-Kem formation, You see this type of teeth quite often and from what i've gathered, they usually fall into the either being Rebbachisaurus or the Titanosaurid Indet so im just wondering which one it looks like or if it is impossible to tell given the tooth is quite worn. Thanks so much for any thoughts
jikohr
My vote goes to Titanosaur. Rebbachisaurid teeth are much thinner.
DAS_Rex
I’m leaning Titanosaurid too. Looks like it in shape and wear. Rebbachisaurid teeth are thinner, smooth, and more elongated peg-like in shape. I can’t see the enamel surface well. Titanosaur usually has a rough texture. Rebbachisaur should be smooth.
