New Members meteorbdg Posted July 27, 2010 New Members Share Posted July 27, 2010 I am planning a hiking trip to Utah in mid August. In the time allotted I won’t have enough time to visit the southern part of the state. Most of the hikes will be within the Wasatch and western Uinta Mountains. Does anyone have experience with finding fossils within this area and around Salt Lake City? I have heard of fossils near Mount Timpanogos. Has anyone checked these out, or know of any other places where you can find fossils in the area? I have also posted this in the General Fossil Discussion area. Thanks in advance.
