Large (16cm) pine cone from coal deposit *solved*

Our local University's museum (KU) hosted "National Fossil Day" on Saturday and one of the stations was doing peels of fossils in coal. I think they said the large cone was from Kentucky and the other material was from Illinois (I was too excited to remember to write it down).

Can anyone identify the cone (its 16 cm in length)?

Got in touch with the collection director, the cone is a Pinus Escalantensis from the Oligocene of British Columbia.

The stems are calamites from the middle Pennsylvanian of Kentucky (left) and Illinois (right).
