I bought this before I realized it was coming from China. SO as always Chinese  fossil are know th be fakes. If I need to I will take more pics.

Yes, an "as found" fossil; I see no reason to doubt it.

Real plate of Lycoptera fish fossils. Very common.

Probably Lycoptera davidi.

real, but “enhanced” with watercolor or similar paint to increase contrast. The colors don’t closely follow the fin structure and one fin (third pic from bottom) is completely unpainted. I had a specimen that was retouched in this way. 

 

The caudal fin is usually a good tell. the preppers tend to be very sloppy about following the anatomy of the fin rays.

I’m with @TriVeratops. It’s color enhanced. I can see multiple errors where they were sloppy coloring it…
