Please help to identify

Hi. I got this at an auction in a boxlot so i have no clue of its origins. Please help to identify

This looks like a mineral vein in a rock.

I don't believe this is a fossil, but geologic in nature.

Thanks for your help! Google lens was failing horribly and calling it a fossil. I looked up mineral vains and it seems it might be whats called "liesegang banding"

Yeah, AI stinks at identifying fossils or rocks.

Best to leave it to humans, for the time being. ;)
