Fossil teeth excavated in Jasper County, SC, length approximately 2 inches root tip to crown.

Would like assistance verifying that this is a bison tooth rather than a cow but it seems to match every aspect of every bison and see if I can find online. Thank you.

I agree with DoneDrillin....

The most significant characteristic in determining Bos vs Bison is the length of the chewing surface.

and it validated the ID of Bison Antiques for this tooth I found 10 years ago
