Coral Horn? Some other thing?

Can anyone confirm if this is a coral horn? Found in Montana limestone near crinoids. 🌎 Fossil curves through and around host rock, poking out on top. Did my best to include all angles. Photos with measurements are cm and in. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum.

Yes, it's a solitary coral, aka "horn coral" though that's a very broad term that can apply to many types. Good photos!

I can't tell at the moment whether it's a rugose (Palaeozoic only) or scleractinian (Mesozoic onwards) coral; it looks rugose at first glance but the end section is confusing me!

There's a huge range range of sedimentary rock ages in Montana so an approximate location should help to determine its age and narrow down an ID.
