These were all found in Cypress, TX. In a small area of front yard.  First one is about 4 inches by 2 by 1 inch. Trying to identify what tree it came from.IMG_20241022_124801.thumb.jpg.a197c39aa218f6712d07f33f76499de3.jpgIMG_20241022_124841.thumb.jpg.4d29bad67b9ad2f74a9c69b935fe0163.jpgIMG_20241022_124744.thumb.jpg.3302cfece9167ad598e95050839e0a3a.jpgIMG_20241022_124830.thumb.jpg.8fac4d12fd4e08f5c3d34779d1a3913b.jpg

Here is next one... about 2 by 2&1/2 inches & about 3/4 inches wide. Does anyone know what type of tree it is?IMG_20241022_124918.thumb.jpg.912aeaa2832d355c897ab597b9957343.jpgIMG_20241022_124948.thumb.jpg.ed37708381efe304d3c3c6c251887f88.jpgIMG_20241022_124909.thumb.jpg.469dd652690243e41cf77498eeb8d309.jpgIMG_20241022_124857.thumb.jpg.5e025163defec799271e2eda7e50ec4c.jpg

It's very difficult to identify the type of tree that petrified wood came from. There's a chance that it is well known enough that someone can offer a reasonable guess. Conclusive identification requires microscopic study of three different sectionings, however.

This one is about 4 inches long, 2 & a half to 3 & a half inches across, and an inch thick at thickest point and half inch at thinnest.  Good quality?  Please be honest I can take it.  I'm here to learn.IMG_20241022_125213.thumb.jpg.0423c70a7b9eb65de2e63d1a2085687c.jpgIMG_20241022_125116.thumb.jpg.3012322588fc20a032bd5e957466bc0e.jpgIMG_20241022_125146.thumb.jpg.e5f8420a0a2212ac0ace1b737aff1c3f.jpgIMG_20241022_125101.thumb.jpg.1a7b2ebb2f484143b8bdc0c0172945dd.jpgIMG_20241022_125130.thumb.jpg.3e633c1ffe6d0d32df3c6f892d4cd026.jpgIMG_20241022_125137.thumb.jpg.7560a843d92d355b7e1e2b9ee74cdac8.jpg

This one is about three and a half inches long an inch to an inch and a half wide and about a half an inch to 3/4 of an inch thick. And it sparkles. Anything about it will help me.IMG_20241022_125307.thumb.jpg.8aeaac61da5c4854ddf6b6c7ca5310d1.jpgIMG_20241022_125257.thumb.jpg.2fdcf91ff97436dcbad75087ae8f3cc1.jpgIMG_20241022_125245.thumb.jpg.ae381faa086705e32069aae63b172ee7.jpgIMG_20241022_125231.thumb.jpg.a0b76f664a56fd83aa1864ac10a9f1d4.jpg

Also can anyone tell me if I'm doing okay at identifying as much as I can,  As far as size?

And again they're all from the front yard in Cypress Texas.  All in a 2 foot radius. Digging more everyday same spot.
