Hello!

Some months ago I found a shark tooth at the Belgian coast. I tried to research a bit but couldnt find what shark this tooth belonged to.

My best guess is a Tresher shark, but Im not sure.

The tooth is a bit worn and missing a piece of the root. Other then that it is a bit curved, looks like it had a little bit of bourlette and most importanly it looks to be serrated at both sides. They are very small and are disappearing towards the very tip of the tooth.

Pictures attaced below,

Thanks!

This is what an Otodus auriculatus often looks like at the Belgian coast, broken and very washed/worn..

For comparison..
