Are these fossils?

I found this rock next to a river in NE Ohio and need help determining if these are fossils.  These are only located on the top side of the rock.  If they are fossils, what type?  Thanks in advance for your help and expertise!

Either trace fossils or bryozoans.

I also wouldn't completely  rule out sedimentary structures.

It looks almost as if a window screen had shattered over most of the surface. Fenestrate bryozoan debris?
