Hey I Found A Dragon Fossil In Ky.... Lol.

Found these on a roof in Mississippi. Some nice agate samples along with some crinoid stems and a possible leaf or plant of some kind. Most of the rock is flint/chert.

the last pic is a fenestrate bryozoan. Neat finds on a roof top no less! Its amazing where one can find fossils..I found some nice pet wood in river rock used for decoration around here.

Those agates are gorgeous, I don't think they came from anything local...

If you believe everything you read, perhaps it's time for you to stop reading...

Those agates can be found in streams west of Jackson, Mississippi. I found several last year when I took a trip out there to hunt for Eocene fossils. Here are two of the pieces that I found. The patterns were interesting so I polished them up a bit.

That's interesting. The roof I was on was just south of Jackson in Brookhaven MS. They look very similar in color and pattern also. That's probably the source.
