Would we be better off heading upstream or downstream from the main parking area, or is there a better place to park to go tooth hunting? Thanks in advance for any advice! The(my) rule of thumb was always "Three empty screens, move on." eventually you will hit a spot that hasn't been worked and find fossils. For what it matters, I always worked my way upstream but that was just because back in the late 90's & early 2000's there was more easily accessed gravel upstream.
