Very tough month.... I'm particularily impressed with the sand dollars in matrix, the gastropod and the USA trilobite slab but the Crinoid head is awsome and just pips it for me.... Good luck everyone.... :)

Needed a three headed coin this month!!!. All kidding aside I narrowed my choices down to three: Crinoid Queen's spectacular crinoid, Brock's equally spectacular trilobite multiple plate and Peter's fantastically detailed Phacops. My pick by a hair is Brock's trilobite plate, simply because it is a spectacular (and rare) association of three choice species.

All kidding aside I narrowed my choices down to three: Crinoid Queen's spectacular crinoid, Brock's equally spectacular trilobite multiple plate and Peter's fantastically detailed Phacops. My pick by a hair is Brock's trilobite plate, simply because it is a spectacular (and rare) association of three choice species.

Have to agree, but I went with the crinoid in the end.

I was wavering between the crinoid and the brittlestars, but then i voted the crinoid both for the unusual position and for the wonderful preparation.
