kolleamm
I'm really curious to see what a Aporrhaidae (pelican's foot snail) looks like since I've been finding fossils of them, I did a google search but no luck I only found pictures of their shells, any picture is appreciated, thanks in advance! fossiladdict
I think there's one on this link. http://shells.tricity.wsu.edu/ArcherdShellCollection/GastropodClassification.html Fossils are simply one of the coolest things on earth--discovering them is just marvelous! Makes you all giddy inside!
JohnJ
You might try sending Han a PM. You visited his website in your other topic and it seems to be his specialty. The human mind has the ability to believe anything is true. - JJ
Han
Dear fossil hunting friends, Although a live Aporrhais pespelecani is not a fossil, you can find some drawings and pictures of this species on our site. The URL for more information is: See: http://www.stromboidea.de/?n=Species.AporrhaisPespelecani I also attached some pictures and a drawing that you can find in Forbes and Hanley, 1853 regards, Han
