Angus Stydens Posted October 29, 2010 Share Posted October 29, 2010 Well, I have never encountered a fortune cooking saying that pertained to fossils, but I do have a "saying" that my friends and I use when we are out collecting. It is especially important to make sure all newbies are familiar with the saying before they go out on their first collecting trip. The saying goes like this: If you get stuck in the mud and are quickly sinking, always hand someone your fossil bucket first. Then you will be rescued.
