FossilMick Posted May 26, 2008 Share Posted May 26, 2008 I woke up early on Saturday to make the 3 1/2 hour trip to the Aurora Fossil Festival. It rained the whole way, so I figured that the rain would slow the festival down a little and I could catch a quick hunt at GMR. It was my 1st trip there and I did "so - so" at the Elm St Park site. After about 2 hours and a bag full of mostly broken teeth I headed to the festival. The sun finally came out and turned it into a great day. I spent a couple hours at the Festival, looking at displays and all the vendors got me itching for another hunt. I met up with a couple people that had hunt GMR before and they told me about another site that I should try. These teeth are from both areas and took about 3-4 hours of sifting in some nasty junk, but it will hold me over for a couple more weeks. I added Crow Shark and Great White to my collection.
