Fossildude19
No one. I don't believe the site exists anymore. 95 is there, now. jpc
So, what kind of site WAS it? Enquiring minds want to know.
Fossildude19
JPC, It was an early Jurassic fossil fish site. Some plants, too. It was apparently in a stream bed at the south end of the lake. But I-95 runs across the end of the lake, and you need a permit to hike around the lake at all. Most all of the sites that were available in Connecticut are now on private property, and there is no collecting at most of them.
