Posted February 10, 2011 Share Posted February 10, 2011 Hi everyone, I have been trying to find any reasonable sized Caloosahatchee Fm. site, preferrably near Tampa if possible or any point North, Hillsborough, Pasco, Polk, Pinellas Hernando couties... any suggestions? Slag piles are perfectly fine. I am leading a small university group (roughly a dozen) with two faculty members, on a trip to observe various fossil representations throughout the geologic record. Visiting the Cincinnatian Ordovician first, then some Eocene in FL for invert materials, then...hopefully a Caloosahatchee FM. site on March 22nd, and lastly the Peace river. Can't seem to pin down a Pliocene/Pleistocene invert site!!! We'd absolutely love to meet up with anyone at any of our locations. Let me know if you would like to meet the group anywhere!
