One correction worth noting; David Brezinski sunk Griffithides in favor of Hesslerides bufo because the North American species of Griffithides have distinctly different cephalic and pygidial features than the European species originally described in the literature. Hesslerides is named in honor of Robert Hessler who provided some of the important large monographs on early Carboniferous trilobites in North America. Brezinski, D.K.
