kauffy Posted July 1, 2008 Share Posted July 1, 2008 Hey everyone, I went for a hunt last weekend with the fossil club of nsw to a Permian Quarry. I have been here before, some of you may have seen some of the fossils I have found before in my gallery. Anyway it was a great day, I pretty much passed off all the brachiopods and bryazoan as i have a ton of it at home from previous trips, my main focus was getting some nice clams. Found heaps of them, some of them are average but some were really nice, everyone found neat things but one member (Jennie Hall) found an amazing crinoid head, and another member found a trilobite tail (which are both very rare) Here are some pics of the quarry, loose rocks and in situ beds (pretty much every block has fossils in it) and lastly the Crinoid head found by Jennie.
