It is rather large! lol measures about one foot by half a foot? it is currently sat in my fireplace.

Fossil_Kat...I'm not 100% sure what it is but its very interesting and has preserved well...Is there a kind of texture I can see on the outside of the tubes?...Might be worth a couple of closeup photo's... Nice find :)

Very like Teredina bivalve borings, in wood. Very common at Sheppey.

I tend to agree with Bill. At first I also thought Serpula, but the form and structure of the tubes doesn't quite fit the picture.
