The Winner of the September 2011 Invertebrate / Plant Find Of The Month is the Acanthocrinus spinosus crinoid from the Devonian Windom Shale of NY, USA! Congratulations to matt cable on his find and its recent preparation!

Thank you everyone. It's probably my favorite specimen I've ever found. The fact that I discovered the site after some research makes it even more special.

There was some great competition this month and I appreciate all the votes.
