(edit) Heres a short article on a 35,000,000 year old giant penguin skeletal fossil found in New Zealand. http://www.junats.org.nz/penguin.php Thanks for the link but i have looked at this site and others but have had no luck yet. as for the penguin from Kawhia/Te waitere this is a lovely specimen that i have seen it is a lot larger than any of the penguins i have found , i generally collect ammonites from the Kawhia area from lot older jurassic rocks.
