uncoat
Rock lobster! sorry, couldn't help it Due to the size and shape I think Scylla has it right. Defiantly a rock lobster. What formation and what age is this from? There is a Miocene Mud Shrimp Upogebia Which i believe was around in your location. Are you sure its lobster-like? It looks alot like the crabs we find here in Oregon. It will probably be hard to ID unless it is prepped. - Nick Edit: I guess i didn't read your topic title.. I was thinking you found it in Seattle, your location.. Nevermind.. Edited April 10, 2012 by uncoat
Boneman007
Its difficult to tell, but it looks like a Linuparis grimmeri. It looks like a location I am familiar with that is upper Woodbine. However, I need much better photos (see it in person?). To be 100% sure.
