S233
Hello everyone! I was wondering if anyone here knows of any sites to collect modern day of fossilized shells of good quality. I know near Maryland and along most beaches but does anyone know any sites just known for shells? Any help would be great! : )

lordpiney
your not gonna find a great variety here in Jersey, but the south end of L.B.I. (Holgate), has the most shells ive ever seen in the state. you should go after a Noreaster...you'll find buckets full!
Tarheel59
Lots of barrier islands are possible. Also the beaches probably from Canada to FL if you get out there before anyone else... I do know Fl there are a couple places on gulf coast known for shells.... Jeff As LP said go after some storms that have kicked up lots of stuff and deposited it on the beach...
