It was an extremely close race, but the winner for September is... The 3" Eldredgeops rana trilobite from the Middle Devonian Moscow Formation of New York! Congratulations to mikeymig for the wonderful discovery, preparation and photographing of the impressive specimen.

Congratulations on the great find. I have yet to find a trilo but hope to go hunting for them soon.

Nice, finally gettting around to seeing some of the month winners. Love the preperation, it really brings it out of the shale. Really need to get out looking, nice find.
