What sort of outcrop is 'North Port'? river gravel im assuming if you say your going to be sifting? very very cool, keep us updated on any new things! Pool Man Posted November 17, 2008 Author Share Posted November 17, 2008 I'll try to take some pics of the shelly stuff I sift through,on my next trip. I've seen this layer called Undifferentiated Tertiary/Quaternary Fossiliferous sediments and T/Q shelly deposits. Its mostly a large shell deposit(the area was a huge bay I believe during the late Pliocene) with lots of clay lenses. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
