fishman1520
i had posted a few days ago about a helical ammonite my friend, and it was quickly identified by member on the forum.yesterday it happens that i was able to find several nice specimens myself.funny how that is.i think these are actually better than my friends specimen.foun d in loose soil near creek bed.i was able to extract with my hands.did not need any tools.it was a long hike, but worth the effort.the best find of the day,was an awesome ammonite about 10" across.that one took awhilke to extract.ill post a picture of it after i clean it up.
