dalmanites14
Hey So I haven't posted anything for quite sometime, anyway I am taking a trip to Southern France this summer in June till July. I am have no idea what the rules are for hunting there and what you are able to find, and how to, in France. Any and all information that is known is much appreciated. Thank you
Uncle Siphuncle
Very friendly export laws, no problems. Same with Germany. Most of the exposures in Southern France that I visited were a mix of early Cretaceous and Jurassic marine. Best bet - befriend a local and bring them some goodies from your neck of the woods. France is huge with tons of good fossils, particularly ammonites and echinoids. Edited June 3, 2013 by danwoehr 1 Grüße, Daniel A. Wöhr aus Südtexas "To the motivated go the spoils."
