Mike Owens
Here are a few images of last weekend's visit to a few of my favorite honey holes... Nice point! What type mammal tooth? I haven't a clue on the others. -----"Your Texas Connection!"------ Fossils: Windows to the past
Uncle Siphuncle
Mike That is a partial horse jaw. The symphesis is buried in the sand and didn't have any incisors intact. Still a pretty cool piece with sandstone and pebble conglomerate attached. As I've said before, don't let the light color fool you - the dark fossils are often just river stained. The other fossils are a gator and Holmesina osteoderms. I'm not sure of the point type. Grüße, Daniel A. Wöhr aus Südtexas "To the motivated go the spoils."
