CRJ
I was wondering what GMR looked like as far as water level. I have not been in what seems like forever. I'm suffering from withdrawal BIG TIME!!! It would be great if someone could find out for me. Was planning to go Thursday or Friday or maybe the weekend. Thanks, Chris J. RickNC
It has been high for weeks with all the rain. The tar river is supposed to crest tomorrow and then slowly begin to drop. Gmr won't start dropping until the river goes down. I was out there yesterday and areas that are normally dry were knee to waist deep.
CRJ
Thanks for the info. High as gas prices are I did not want to make a dry run. I really appreciate your help! Again, THANKS! Chris J
RickNC
No problem Chris. I'm not saying it isn't workable, but it is much higher than I like.
CRJ
Yes, I was in the creek the week before the Aurora Fossil Festival and the water was at my waist and it was no fun. Needless to say I won't be trying that again. I think maybe i will try sometime this weekend and hopefully the water has stirred things up. Good Luck with your fossil hunting! Thanks, Chris J.
