MakoMeCrazy
Make sure you have something protective on your feet like waders or thick water shoes. Bring a sifter or two, bring a shovel, bug spray, baggies, and good luck out there! Make sure you post your finds!
obsessed1
If you are mostly after the big teeth use a 1/2" screen in your sifter. Lots of nice smaller teeth will fall through but would be caught in a 1/4" mesh screen. Most of the guys and gals looking for those big Great Whites use the 1/2" or larger mesh so they can process more material/gravel in the time they get to hunt fossils. Also if you are finding losts of gravel of the same size you could very well be sifting someones spoil pile. After a while you will learn to know the look and feel of unsifted gravel compared to gravel that has been dug through. Good Luck!
