cuda70bill
I am interested in finding something on this the Palaeotragus. I believe it's some sort of Giraffe or like an Okapi. My daughter likes the slender neck fellows and I am on a hunt for something for her, anyone out there in fossil land have anything on this ? RichW9090
Did you try Google? The plural of "anecdote" is not "evidence".
Fruitbat
I'm not exactly sure what you're looking for, cuda70bill. There are a few scientific articles on Palaeotragus in the 'Other Artiodactyla' section of my PDF library here on The Fossil Forum and I have seen some more popularly-oriented materials on the Internet on one occasion or the other (including an attempt at a possible reconstruction of the animal's appearance). If you use Google to search, try typing in 'Palaeotragus pdf' or 'Giraffid fossil pdf' and you might get a few decent hits. -Joe Illigitimati non carborundum Fruitbat's PDF Library
