jimmy1971
Very nice finds. How does Galveston look after the hurricane? Please give us an update on the condition of the island. Are the hotels still there? How do the beaches look?

silverphoenix
It's an old pipe-- Galveston looks ok on the interior---everything is functioning there like nothing happened. It's just if you go to the beach on the west end that you see there's NO BEACH! and the 2nd row of houses are now beach front--first row is gone. The site I hunt was only positively affected because a lot of great stuff washed up. They did a pretty good job of cleaning up the island I'd say, but as for bolivar--can anyone say "wiped clean"?
