Major
Ok, this may seem weird but... Do we have Ammonites/Trilobites? We've supposedly been underwater for so long, it'd be really weird if we don't. I've never heard of it, however.

ebrocklds
i think that there has only been one partial trilobite from florida ever found and it was in a drill core. Florida just doesn't have rocks that old at the surface. look in the maps section at the geologic map of florida and you will notice that the exposed rocks are fairly recent geologically speaking. If you're going to collect fossils in Florida, you should have this book: THE FOSSIL VERTEBRATES OF FLORIDA This book costs $32.00, but is worth it's weight in gold to a vertebrate collector. It'll even answer your questions about Florida's ammonoids and trilobites. http://pristis.wix.com/the-demijohn-page What seest thou else In the dark backward and abysm of time? ---Shakespeare, The Tempest

Guest N.AL.hunter
Sorry, but the age of the formations in Florida are too young for them. If one is found, it probably got reworked into the sediment.

Cole20200
Most of Florida is only Paleocene too about Pleistocene, so like 50 mil. too about 1.5 mil. Someone throw a rock at me if I'm wrong. Fossil, it's like a rock, but better.
