jkfoam
Matt, Rather than an Ammonite its probably its cousin, a Nautiloid, subclass Nautiloidea, order Nautiloida and maybe the genus is Liroceras. I would be interested in others opinion. I'm woefully inadequate with cephalopods. JKFoam The Eocene is my favorite
Auspex
I'm not sure that it's not a gastropod. Guest Nicholas
It seems to be lacking the common Nautiloid segmentation.
