Fused Fish Verts From Nsr

Went to the NSR on Friday beautiful weather, one unusual find, a stack of small fish verts fused together.

Nice , we have some like that , not as long , we found at NSR .

Hunting fossils is fun , but discovering is better !

awsome find, for some reason I dont think verts can fuse in maryland.

The sediment usually doesn't harden enough for pieces to become fused like that. We just don't have the right chemical alterations occurring in the cliffs. It does happen but it isn't common.

yea thats why i usually leave my associated verts in the matrix.
