KansasFossilHunter
I picked this guy up at the rock and mineral show today. I'm looking for more information on it. The dealer thought it might be from the green river- but wasn't sure. It looks Moroccan? Thanks in advance -Kris
Auspex
You are probably correct that it is not from the Green River Formation. If pressed, I would guess China. -Andy-
A lovely little turtle indeed! Manchurochelys liaoxiensis from the Lower Cretaceous rocks of Yixian Formation (Liaoning, China) would be my guess. Looking forward to meeting my fellow Singaporean collectors! Do PM me if you are a Singaporean, or an overseas fossil-collector coming here for a holiday!
