New Members CoolCatCalvin Posted July 21, 2014 New Members Share Posted July 21, 2014 I want to go Fossil Hunting in Hell Crek and was wondering if anyone would give me some good spots to go for a beginner as I am a Herper (I like to catch reptiles and amphibians) and would like to get more into the original reptiles. Troodon Posted July 21, 2014 Share Posted July 21, 2014 Welcome to the forum. The Hell Creek is typically not an area that you just do a drive up and have at it. Most of the exposures are on Private or Government land. Collecting areas require the permission of the landowner and access is not easy to obtain. The best way to collect is to hook up with individuals that take groups out on digs. I'm sure others members of the forum will chime in with recommendations.
