Brrrrrrrrr - I'm glad I live in TX!

Although there are those pix of my digging ammonites out from under ice covered limestone blocks from 4 weeks ago...

But that was practically in Oklahoma. With that north wind I could smell the trailer parks... :P

lol wow well we dont get the smell of trailer parks but we do get the smell of dead animals

hey bmore it seems like you have been finding a lot of intact ray plates lately. Ive only been a member for a little while but do you have a better chance of finding them in the winter for some reason or have you found them like that all year long?

You can find more of everything there in the winter; more erosion, fewer hunters.

Awesome pics bmore, I really enjoyed them. Just like a virtual fossil hunting trip. You know that I love those ground shots! That way I can fossil hunt in freezing cold weather from the comfort of my office!

Why not have a contest "Find the Fossils"

just use one of our great photos, and only you

really know where everything is and all us dumbies

have to find them (on line that is) B)
