SharkGuy94
I bought this small Shark tooth from a beach shop in Fort Myers, Florida, a few years ago, and was wondering if anyone could ID it? I don't know where or when it was collected, sorry. Anyway, here are the pictures, the tape measure is shown in cm. Hope the pictures are clear enough, thanks! fossilselachian
Unfortunately the tooth is so heavily abraded, likely in the surf, that any of the normal diagnostic features used for identification are gone.

I figured that may be the case, but thought I'd ask anyway Thanks for your input, appreciate it! Edited August 25, 2014 by SharkGuy94
