British Columbia Eocene Mystery

MOROPUS

Recommended Posts

Hi!

Three or four years ago, I buy some slabs from a well known dealer, with some foliage on them. The price was quite cheap, but the ID was none.I ask him if he could tell me the fossil data, but the answer was that he didin`t know almost anything about paleobotanical matters.

So, here is the question. What are this? Coniferopsidae? Thanks in advance... ;)

Docdutronc? Or someone around British Columbia? :D

The conifer looks to be Cunninghamia, simple leaf could be Alnus and the last leaf ?

try Cache Creek plants (or flora) on google for some reference material

here is a link to a good reference

In Europe is very difficult to find such specific reference!

I will look at them! ;)
