sparkchaser
Saturday I went and inspected this locale that is detailed in the Jasper Burns book Fossil Collecting in the Mid-Atlantic States. I arrived and realized that I forgot my hammer so I was limited to inspecting what had fallen off. Slabs encrusted with bryozoans and brachiopods were pretty common. Nothing spectacular but then again I only spent about 30 min looking. If the VA Fossil Forum hunt in March is still on, I say add this locale to the list. If anything, it would provide a break from the Cenozoic stuff in the tidewater area. RAWR! I am zeee dead bobcat!

sparkchaser
No I didn't. I also forgot my camera. I'll try and head up there again in the next week or so and take the camera with me. RAWR! I am zeee dead bobcat!
