Damaged Trilobite: Is It Legit?

The trilobite is authentic and that seller accurately represents the trilobites he offers for sale.

The low $9.99 starting bid is more than fair for a nice representative example of that species.

I have to say I don't know why they have to prep those bug to 'fly' like that - does it actually give you a look at the ventral surface or something? (I don't think so) - all it does is make them more expensive and harder to ship. I would be happy with a well-prepped non-flying specimen if it were more affordable and more sturdy. (Of course I wouldn't sniff at a flying one either if the price is right!)

I'm not gonna bid, I don't have the patience or steadiness to handle those broken spines... Good luck!

Our office assistant did a beautiful job supergluing the spines back on! Only three spines couldn't be replaced.

Fore $36 plus shipping I am very happy with it (and her)!
