Sunday Walk In The Calvert Cliffs

Optimist

Recommended Posts

After weeks of snow, ice and generally bad weather, it was finally a good day for a walk on the beach. I have to say that I am thankful the bay gave up some of its treasures.

Oh my word!

Ramo will be distraught that he was unable to make it out there....

This one is not just a trip-maker, but belongs on the year's highlight reel:

Nice finds indeed.

Wish we had beaches here.

Well we do but all you will find is old clam shells from the river.

Awesome finds, congrats! Love the in situ pic as well : )

Every once in a great while it's not just a big rock down there!

That molar's a beast. Great find!

I hope it gets entered into the March FOTM contest!

Wow! What a great day of collecting. Congrats on the great finds. I really like the color on the smaller mako.

Luck is the most important skill of a fossil diver.
