Hi All,

So my buddy Bret, my wife Jenny, and I hunted a creek within the Hogtown basin today in Gainesville, FL and found some nice stuff! By far my best find of the day was a PERFECT Meg tooth that was just shy of 3 inches! :D Check out the photos!

I love those big teeth. that is sweet.

"Perfect" is the right adjective.

Beautiful, high-quality Meg!

In the group shot, just left of the Meg's root, is a curved thing that resembles a long rodent incisor; What is?

That would be the world's smallest beaver, but yeah, rodent-like.

Hi Auspex,

You are right; it is indeed a rodent incisor. I was thinking that it was modern, but haven't looked too closely at it yet.

We see a lot of teeth around here, but that one is exceptional.
