New Members michi Posted March 15, 2009 New Members Share Posted March 15, 2009 Hi! This fern is from Douglas County, Oregon. Its really hard to make out the details on the picture of the fossil, so I've attached my rather unimpressive sketch. Ward and Fontaine described the flora of Douglas County in 1905, but I didn't see anything that resembled this specimen. The fossil was impressed into a black shale matrix, it was hard to see whether the ultimate segments were lobed or not. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. {Sauropod}

Auspex
What happened to the picture? The drawings were great! I used them during a Google marathon yesterday (without success, unfortunately).
