AlwaysLooking
Please IM me if you lost a real nice coat. It was on the verge of being washed into the water so I picked it up. Please describe and tell me what's in the pocket, and it's yours. Thanks. A/L
New Members bad-da-bing Posted March 19, 2009 New Members Share Posted March 19, 2009 It is blue, with a zipper, and a 6" Meg tooth in the pocket. I've been looking everywhere for that thing.
New Members bad-da-bing Posted March 19, 2009 New Members Share Posted March 19, 2009 Good for you though, trying to find the owner. I found a memory card one time with a little kids birthday party and pumpkin patch pictures in a parking lot and was able to get it back to the owner from an online forum. Fat Boy
Whoever lost it might not be a member. So, all of us members that hit the Potomac could keep an ear out, maybe ask people you see if they lost one, and then point them to this forum. That could also reap a side benefit of bringing a few new members to us in addition to the return of the coat! By the way, it's good to see that there are good samaritans here. I'd expect that most of us would be given that fossil collectors are just plain cool folks for the most part. Kudos to you Alwayslooking...maybe I'll see you out there some day.
